The partnership began with a joint event in February 2026 alongside KidsKnowRights and the Language Service Club. Saint Peter's hosted and made the community introductions; MintBox handed out portable garden boxes while the wider effort collected and distributed toys and clothing.
This is the clearest example of our partnership model working as designed. The church already had the relationships with the families it serves, so all we had to do was build the boxes, bring volunteers, and teach planting. The collaboration was left open for future work, and this page will grow as it does.

Alongside KidsKnowRights and the Language Service Club: the church hosted and made the introductions, the wider effort collected toys and clothing for families, and we handed out MintBoxes — cilantro, parsley, thyme and rosemary — and taught planting. The partnership model working exactly as designed.
